Explore the interplay of biology and culture in human populations over time and around the world. Using 'systems thinking', examine the impact that various geographies, technologies, political-economic (structural) arrangements, historical legacies, and cultural contexts have on human evolution.

Course requirements

Prerequisites: Completion of Area 5B. Biological Science General Education requirement. If a biological sciences course is not taken to satisfy Area 5B., a college course in biological sciences is required.
