SDSU ART 583 — Mixed Reality Studio
Exploration of augmented and virtual reality, 3D scanning, and related emerging media in art and design. Emphasis on conceptual development, critical inquiry, and technical skills through creation of immersive projects. Students produce portfolio-ready works integrating design practice with experimental technologies. It is recommended that students take ART 383 Creative Coding prior to this course, but it is not required.

Prerequisites: Graduate standing; completion of at least three units of 300- or 400-level ART courses or equivalent; or instructor consent
