Ancient theories of cosmology; their relation to the development of science; our modern understanding of the origin, size, contents, and evolution of the universe; the Big Bang, dark matter, dark energy, and the universe's ultimate fate. Does not count toward the Astronomy B.S. degree. Can count toward the Astronomy B.A. degree or the Astronomy minor.
