SDSU BIOL 597 — Undergraduate Thesis

Experience in designing and carrying out independent research in a laboratory or field setting plus a written record of experimental design and results in the form of a research thesis to be defended before a committee. Students must contact the instructor for approval to enroll in this course. BIOL 597 is not applicable to a graduate degree.

Course requirements

Prerequisites: Admission to the major with cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and nine units completed in the major. Completion of at least three units of advanced upper division research in biology (BIOL 499, BIOL 497, or equivalent).
