Indigenous development and family patterns across the lifespan. Kumeyaay sustaining and revitalizing of cultural and socio-linguistic identity; theories of glocalization and multicultural development; socio-cultural, socio-linguistic, socio-emotional, and socio-political analysis of indigenous communities and relationship to dominant society. This course includes a field placement experience component. 2 hours seminar format discussion and 1 hour field placement lab.

Prerequisites: PSY 101 or SOC 101.
