Provides a comprehensive overview of cybersecurity and privacy terminology, concepts, requirements, policies, and mechanisms. Explores information threats, vulnerabilities, risks and technical approaches to establish confidentiality, integrity, authenticity, availability and non-repudiation of information. Illustrates fundamental concepts as applied to computer systems and networks through hands-on exercises. Not open to students with credit in CS 574
