Techniques of creative writing focusing on a specialized genre such as comedy, science fiction, and biography. Study of the critical and theoretical literature on the genre. Includes a creative writing workshop. May be repeated with new content. See Class Schedule for specific content. Maximum credit six units. Formerly numbered ENGL 579.
