SDSU HIST 400 — Junior Methods/Historiography
Study and practice of historical methods and historiography through writing and discussion. Historical methods, argumentation, interpretation in one field of history (chosen by instructor). Production of a substantial historiographical essay.
Course requirements
Prerequisites: HIST 100, HIST 101, and six additional units of lower division history. Completion of HIST 390W or another approved upper division writing course (W) with a grade of C (2.0) or better; completion of GE requirements in Communication and Critical Thinking.
