SDSU LATAM 110 — Elementary Mixtec I
Mixtec language and culture. Pronunciation, oral practice, reading, and listening comprehension and essentials of grammar in a communicative context and through task-based activities. Course uses language acquisition skills to help students understand cultural differences and develop a global perspective. Not open to students with credit in LATAM 111. Taught in Mixtec. Native speakers of Mixtec or Zapotec will not receive credit for taking lower division courses in Mixtec or Zapotec except with advance approval from Latin American Studies.
