Supervised clinical practicum focused on the advanced practice nursing role as an Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in acute/critical care settings. Impact of the CNS on patient outcomes within the three spheres of CNS practice: Patient, Nurse and Organization.
Course requirements
Prerequisites: NURS 501, NURS 501L, NURS 604A, NURS 608, NURS 610, NURS 622, NURS 658, NURS 684. Concurrent enrollment in NURS 751A.
