Molecular diagnostics/epidemiology performed through bioinformatics analysis. The molecular epidemiology of the most prevalent human infections is discussed. Using Mycobacterium tuberculosis and SARS-CoV-2, students will identify variants of the disease and provide clinical diagnosis using Whole Genome Sequencing data. Undergraduate students require instructor's permission to enroll.
