SDSU RUSSN 300 — Russian Culture and Society
Examines Russian culture and identity from Imperial times to today. Students analyze primary sources exploring autocracy, religion, gender, empire, nature, ecology, and memory while investigating how cultural practices shape and reflect evolving definitions of Russian national identity. Taught in English.
