SDSU RWS 508W — Scientific Writing
Scientific writing in academic and empirical research settings to include clear and concise writing style, rhetorical strategies, and writing of research reports, proposals, conference presentations, and articles. Satisfies the Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR) for students who get a minimum grade of C or Cr. Upper-division courses should only be taken by students who have completed 60 semester units or more. In exceptional cases, a student who has completed fewer than 60 units may enroll in upper division courses.
Course requirements
Prerequisites: Junior, Senior, or Grad Level Admission to a minor, major, certificate, or graduate program in Rhetoric and Writing Studies. Completion of lower division GE Area 1. Junior or senior standing.
